Kongo Basketball Club currently has over 30 competitive teams between the girls & boys programs for the Fall/Winter session. The competitive boys program offers teams for 2nd grade through high school. The competitive girls program starts at 4th grade and goes through high school. Our 2nd - 9th graders can go year round or choose between Fall/Winter and/or Spring. Competitive high school age athletes compete in the spring and summer. There are multiple teams per grade and they broken up into commitment and skill levels.

Going into the 2023-2024 season Kongo Basketball Club has tailored our program to have an option for every athlete. There are three levels of commitment for our basketball program:

Base Program: 2 days of practice held on Monday and Wednesday. Each practice is one hour in duration. These practices are team practices that are ran by the coach for your team for the year. 

Premier Program: This program includes everything the base program includes plus a small group skills training session. This session will be held on Fridays throughout the season. There will be a beginner, intermediate, and advanced option every friday with sessions starting at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm.

Elite Program: This program includes everything the premier packages includes plus individualized performance training for your athlete. You will recieve a evaluation to see where your athlete is currently and a custom speed, strength, agility, and explosion program tailored to basketball. You will get 8 training sessions per month to schedule at your convenience. You will also recieve our new Movement Program designed to help with injury prevention, core strength, core stability.

Our goal at Kongo is to develop each athlete individually and give them the skills they need to succeed in their sport. We do this by utilizing the best coaches, trainers, and skill coaches in the basketball industry. Our teams compete in competitive leagues across Utah. Some teams will also compete in local & out of state tournaments.
