Kongo Cheer

Kongo Cheer is set up to develop each athlete to their full ability. We aim to teach each boy or girl the essential skills to cheer at a sporting event. In the long run we want to develop both a competition team as well as have a recreation program. We incorporate tumbling, stunting, and athletic training into our program to give each cheerleader the opportunity to succeed. Our goal is to give every boy or girl the skills needed to make their Junior High or High School cheerleading team.

Coaches

Becky Erickson, Director of Cheerleading Operations

Becky fell in love with cheer at a very young age. She began cheer at the age of 12 and has been associated with it every since. She was a part of a youth competitive program growing up while cheering in both Jr High and High School. She went on to become a coach. Becky has coached in Montana, Texas, and Utah.

Currently Becky is the Head Cheerleading Coach at Viewmonth High School. She also coached competitive All-Star level 5 for 8 years. She is USASF certified and safety certified for the state of Utah.

Becky is excited to share her knowledge she has gained to all that want to cheer.
